Hello July!

Hello Friends!
I started my July decorating upstairs as I've recently finished some new patriotic pieces.

I worked on my tiered tray first as it always seems to give me the biggest problem and chose to make Barbara Ana's "Freedom" piece the focal point. "Freedom" is matted with coordinating fabric and mounted (with magnets) to the front of a white-washed box I found at Michaels awhile back. The tray also has a USA-themed galvanized standup I found at Kirklands, a wood star trio I found at a thrift store last year in KC, some mason jars, and patriotic picks, flowers and flags.

I was able to stitch up this patriotic house found in the Sweet Land of Liberty book by Blackbird Designs, and when I found the blue wooden standup at Michaels, I knew they had to go together.

I also was able to finish Freedom House by Little House Needleworks, a piece I've admired for years so I knew I wanted that to be front and center. It's matted with some fabric and mounted (again with magnets) to the front of this stand-up square frame I found at Kirklands this year. For height, I flipped over a galvanized box for it to sit up, and placed it in this blue weathered tray I also found at Kirklands.

Stars and Stripes from Little House Needleworks was stitched on 36 ct to make it tiny enough to sit atop this small grey pedestal I found at Michaels to off-set the flag-themed metal vase I placed on the other side.
