Whimsical Witch Flatfold

Hello Friends!

Very excited to finally get this impromptu stitch FFOed this morning! I had no plans to stitch this piece until I came across it in my stash and it called to me. I changed around a few of the colors (see below) including her skin which I made a witchy green. Once it was done though, I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I just went with a mounted flatfold.

I realize as I assembled the flatfold that I am in desperate need for some cutesy Halloween buttons so I just opted for a matching cover button.

Pumpkin Spice Farm

Hello Friends!

I'm absolutely in love with this latest FFO using Pumpkin Spice Farm from Hands on Design. This pattern screams fall to me.

I finished it on one of those grey-washed easels you can get at Michaels and after going back and forth on backing fabrics, decided to just mount the stitched piece straight to the board and edge it with cording instead. Nothing looked right and the pattern is pretty enough to stand alone.

I added some fall gingham ribbon to the top, popped in an eggplant-colored cover button and then added a small leaf button.

Grateful Thankful Blessed

Hello Friends!

After a rough week fighting some kind of sinus infection, I was happy to be back at it in my studio late last night and early this morning! I have a bunch of finishes for stitchy friends ready to fly off my table, but in the process, I managed to get this quick stitch done and FFOed.

My stitchy enabling friend, Robin had sent me this design as part of her pieces to be finished and I knew the second I saw it, I wanted to stitch it -- so I did. I'm planning to finish hers the same way so this was my test run. It came out super cute!
