New Series from Country Cottage Needleworks, Client Finishes and a Blast from the Past

Hey friends!

I've been very blessed to finish for Country Cottage Needleworks and Little House Needleworks. Diane and Nikki are two of the most amazing, talented women in the cross stitch community, and I pinch myself every time I see one of my finishes posted on anything that touches their name. It absolutely blows my mind.

I recently finished up the "Pastel Collection" series from Country Cottage Needleworks and Nikki has already released three of the patterns, with the third releasing just today.

I also finally got around to listing some note card sets I had packed when I moved from Connecticut. When I did a complete redo of my studio this month I found a box of them I had finished prior to the move and a bunch more that I just need to pack up. I used to mostly sell cards on Etsy so it was so weird to see these again. But it also makes me miss playing with paper.

A Snowmen Redo, Client Finishes and Chinese New Year at Bellagio

"Brr... It's Cold Outside" from Brenda Gervais got a bit of a redo this year. I found this old tray at a second-hand store and I just painted and dusted it with some white chalk paint to make it look weathered. It happened to be the perfect size for this piece so I just slapped some magnets on the back and called it a day. It's always good when you can redo a piece you're not in love with with minimal effort isn't it?

This weekend, we made a quick trip up to Vegas (it's turning into our second home at this point) because the Kansas City Chiefs are in the Superbowl again this year and we were able to go to "Opening Night" at Allegiant Stadium. We were lucky to have two Superbowls in our general area back-to-back and even luckier to have the Chiefs play in them.

We grabbed some front row seats and enjoyed being up close and personal with the players. Such a fun night!

We always stop in the Bellagio Conservatory to see what the Botanical Gardens are transformed into. Every season has a new theme and this time it's Chinese New Year. I'm always amazed at how they turn such a large space into a totally different experience, and once again, Bellagio did not disappoint! If you're interested, take my quick tour!

Prairie Schooler Santa Envy

Hi friends!

For many years, I've had plans to stitch all the Prairie Schooler Santas and have them all displayed on a pencil tree and it's just never happened (yet)! This year, I had the pleasure of finishing 10 Prairie Schooler Santas for my finishing service client, Gina. They were all stitched so beautifully I was almost scared to finish them for her! When Gina received the Santas, she arranged them on her own pencil tree and shared a photo of her beautiful display with me. This was all the motivation I needed to make sure I get mine done next year!

Client Finish - Barnyard Christmas

I am a sucker for anything from The Prairie Schooler, so when these Barnyard Christmas ornaments showed up at my doorstop for finishing, I immediately pulled the chart out and kitted them up. My goal is to get them stitched, finished and on my own tree by December... Yikes!

This is Halloween and Client Finishes

I am so excited that I was able to get this awesome piece from Stitching with the Housewives stitched up, fully finished, and added to one of my Halloween vignettes this year! I just love the farmhouse look to this piece. It's just such an amazing design!
