Three Little Words

Hello Friends!

I got these cuties done this week. I just love the colors!

I needed a little change so I pulled out these two Lizzie Kate charts from their "Three Little Words" collection.

The first one is from the "Dreaming is Free" pattern. I only stitched the "Believe in Miracles" part using DMC colors that mimicked the colors in the fabric I chose.

The second one is from the "Forgive Move On" pattern. I only stitched the "Think Happy Thoughts" part and again, used DMC colors that mimicked the colors in the fabric I chose.

They are both finished as fancy flat ornaments.

Humble Honey

Hello Friends!

"Humble Honey" by Hands on Design has been finished!

I went with a fancy flat for this piece thinking it would look really cute propped up in a hutch or filling a dough bowl. 

I went with black and white gingham to contrast the chalkboard design and added some aqua touches with the bow and cording. It's SUCH a cute design!

Pocket Round Flower Tin

Hello Friends!

This morning I finished up "Pocket Round Flower" by Heart in Hand onto this galvanized metal tin I found at Hobby Lobby in their Spring Shop collection. Isn't it just the cutest?

The piece is stitched on some scrap evenweave that I hand-dyed a denim blue. I stitched it all with the called-for DMC colors. 

The piece is mounted directly to the metal tin and then I just edged it with some cording and added an olive green bow. I had these cute wooden ladybugs in my stash that worked perfectly as a little accessory.

Star Spangled Spectacular

Hello Friends!

Star Spangled Spectacular is finished and framed!

The pattern is by With Thy Needle and Thread and is part of the Souvenirs of the Heart series.

The piece was stitched on tea-dyed 32 ct Lugana in all DMC with blends of: 926, 930, 3777, 356, 3051, 731, 3790, 3781, 221, 223, 224, 168, 169, 3371, 433, 420. 

It's matted with some tan and white gingham fabric and mounted to the front of a blue/gray rustic frame. White cording edges the piece and some bows and ribbons compliment the top.
