Land That I Love

Hello friends!

Just FFOed my newly stitched Land That I Love pattern by Lizzie Kate. I changed a lot of the colors to make it blend a little bit better with the nautical frame that it's mounted in. The frame has a dry-brushed white and grey effect complete with nautical roping -- I just love it!

I stitched this piece on some dyed evenweave and then chose to mount it on some simple blue-grey polka dot fabric. It seemed a little too bare when I mounted it inside the frame so I opted for a little bow I made from some American flag ribbon I had lying around, and then popped in a blue and white striped cover button.

STITCHY DETAILS:

Pattern: Land That I Love
Designer: Lizzie Kate

Colors Used:
DMC: 729, 816, 930, 932, 3024, 3031, White

Thanks for stopping by!

What a fun stitch and finish you have created, Alissa! I really like your finishing touches. What do you mean by "dry brushed"? Enjoy your day!
