Hello Friends!

Today I finally FFOed Woolemina from Plum Street Samplers. I stitched this up weeks ago having a "perfect" FFO finish idea for it and it just didn't work out AT ALL... so it sat on my desk for awhile before I found this large tart while thrifting.

The tart is approximately 9 inches, so it's a pretty good size and it came with a pale blue ribbon that I hated, so I substituted that for twine, and then I made a large padded circle with black and tan gingham homespun and mounted Woolemina to the top of that. It needed more, so I added the same twine from the hanger to the edges of the stitched piece, and then made thicker cording from that twine for the edges of the homespun.

Pattern: Woolemina

Thanks for stopping by!

What a fabulous finish you created with Woolemina, Alissa! That black and tan gingham homespun really pulls it together along with the twine and rose trim. Enjoy your weekend!
