Fall Owl Tin Sign

Hello Friends!

Back with a finish that just left my table -- and I just love it! This cute  little owl is part of a Prairie Schooler design that I stitched on hand-dyed evenweave. It's a mix of blue and a little grey and I really like how it makes the threads pop.

The owl design was matted to two different coordinating fabrics and then mounted to this tin sign that has a bronzed glaze on it. I edged the stitching with some brown cording and then added a few small twigs with berries, and then last but not least, a ribbon bow with cover button center. Super cute piece for fall!

STITCHY DETAILS:

Pattern: Autumn Leaves
Designer: Prairie Schooler
Autumn Leaves - Cross Stitch Pattern
Fabric: 28 ct evenweave, hand-dyed with blue and grey undertones
Colors: DMC 3031, 839, 840, 780, 435, Ecru

Thanks for stopping by!

Fabulous stitch and finish! Did you do the hand-dyeing of the fabric or pick it up somewhere? It looks great with the thread colors.
