Finishes for the Week

Hello Friends!

I had a really busy week moving a bunch of pieces off my finishing table.

I started with these little Buffalo Check farmhouse ornaments I made using Hands on Design's Chalkboard Ornaments. Instead of stitching them on the black, I went with some tea-dyed eveweave and just inverted the colors from white to black.

Then I moved back to fall and made some of these little pumpkins.

I stitched these quick pieces up on some 32 ct Floba and finished them as small rounds before mounting them to the fronts of these shelf-sitter pumpkins. I made some cording out of green and olive floss and then added some jute bows with leaf button centers.

My next finish was this small design from Waxing Moon Designs. I had a totally different idea for a finish for this piece, and when it didn't work out, I just made it into a small wood ornament with some coordinating fabric, cording, bows another leaf button.

Then I made a pair of tart ornaments using the December-themed design from Heart in Hand. I love using these seasonal charts for these tarts.

And then I ended the week with finishes for Katrinka and Patti.

Love your finishes, Alissa! Each one is finished perfectly for the design! And I like your version of the HOD ornaments.
