Halloween Decor Galore (Part 1)

Hello Friends!

Took a little break this morning to finish putting the last Halloween decor touches to my upstairs hutch. I'm still working on downstairs, but it felt good to at least call this area "done" --- at least for now!

I absolutely love decorating and stitching Halloween pieces, so maybe I went a little overboard, but oh well!

I was so excited to finally finish up and be able to put out my totally Priscilla-inspired Bobbing for Pumpkins sign. I started stitching it last year but wasn't able to finish it in time, so I'm so happy its up and out this year! Make sure you go visit the original piece on Priscilla's blog:

My next finish was Ye Old Crow by Heart in Hand. I've never stitched a monochromatic pattern before but I absolutely loved this one. I used Onyx by Weeks Dye Works for the entire piece. It's matted with black and tan homespun and mounted to the front of a grey-washed board.

I needed three ornaments for the knobs, so I also finished up Lizzie Kate's Eek, Boo, Hiss pieces and made them into simple mounted ornaments with matching bows. I may go back and dress them up but I was in a rush and needed them up and out, so they'll do for now.

My last and most favorite finish is Lizzie Kate's Tingles which I finished onto this large grey-washed wood pallet sign. I changed a lot of the colors to be a little more muted and stitched it on Vintage Country Mocha Lugana so that it'd have that old, rustic look to it. It's matted with the same black and tan homespun as my Ye Old Crow and mounted to the front of the board with magnets so I can switch it out with Lizzie Kate's Jingles come Christmas.

The black and white gingham runner is from Hobby Lobby, the Halloween garlands are from Michaels, and the gnomes are from Hobby Lobby.

Thanks for stopping by!
