Land That I Love

Hello Friends!

Today I finally finished this Land That I Love piece, and I say "finally" because it's been sitting, literally for weeks while I tried to figure out what to do with it. I ultimately decided to use this frame but the frame itself was made specifically for Christmas, so I had some embellishments to remove (and it wasn't easy).

I matted the stitched piece to some patriotic fabric and mounted both to the frame -- and then put it aside AGAIN. I had these rustic patriotic berry picks, and God knows I have enough ribbon, but it just wasn't coming together. And then this morning I went through my stash again and this was the end product.

I still don't know if I love it, but I almost just can't stand to look at it anymore! 😄
