Hello Friends!
Just finished up this cute little floral tart using a new pattern I purchased recently. I can't believe I didn't have this in my stash! Since it's a round one, I decided to put it in another tart pan ornament. They're just so cute!
I went back and forth on using a coordinating backing fabric but every time I tried, it seemed to take away from the design, so I just went with the stitched piece itself. It's stitched on some blue/grey fabric I had dyed awhile back, and it's edged with white fancy trim. I used some olive green ribbon to pull out the color from the stitching, and added a white flower to complete the piece.
STITCHY DETAILS:
Pattern: Stitch in Time
Designer: With Thy Needle and Thread

Fabric: 28 ct blue/grey hand-dyed evenweave monaco
Colors: DMC 3721, 223, 3828, 3829, 731, 927
I also did some finishing this past week including a large easel back for Teresa and more smalls for Robin including two round needle books that I was terrified to try finishing, but it worked out!
Thanks for stopping by!

Your round tart stitch looks fabulous, Alissa. I really like the fabric you stitched yours on. Love the finishing you did for me! Those needle books are fabulous.
